S. Revolt: The Return of the Society Arc I: City Turmoil

Kaname had left the building after the coast was clear. "Wow that D-Wheel had vanished right before my eyes. What power! I wonder who exactly was riding that crazy thing?"

Kaname had left to go back to the resistance HQ remembering that Comamnder Lester wanted to have a meeting about the Nova program today, one which he was late for. He started running as fast as he could, a few minutes later he entered the back entrance to the HQ and made a dash to the Central Control Room.

"Shit, the Commander's gonna have my head for this one! Why'd I have to wait this long to come back?!
I bet everyone in there is learning about the program as we speak and I'm missing out."

Kaname gave a slight sigh as he had turned the corner into the infromation bay of the HQ and ran towards the door of the CCR. He had knocked on the large metal doors and then bursted in yelling.

"I'm very sorry eyeryone, am I too late?"

As Aran and Matt sped along the corridors of the hall, Matt seemed confident of his victory as Aran said using his arm to sheild himself from the Synchro's electric aura...."Its...not over yet!" As when both duelists rounded the corner and saw a girl with bright pigmented skin suddenly crossed their path 3 meters ahead..."Look out!" Matt and Aran said in union. As the girl looked up slowly and indifferently, her eyes seemed to glow a emerald green as the speeding Duel Runner and D-Wheel neared the girl. "........." the girl seemed blank and aloof....Aran sharply turned his Duel Runner as his shoulder grinded against the wall.."Ahhh!!" Aran wailed out in pain as he tumbled off of his Duel Runner skidding to a stop. Matt bumped the wall as he nearly missed the girl causing him to swerve uncontrollably as he was thrown off his D-Wheel meeting the ground abruptly.

As Aran and Matt both turned and looked at the mysterious girl, she was walking towards them with no change in her expression. She began to near them with an indifferent look on her face....The girl came into view as the lights of the totalled Duel Runner and D-Wheel slowly revealed her appearance...

Adachi was confused by the actions of this man, he had just left the building randomly with out saying any thing to him, Resistance bastard didnt have the guts to talk to him?

Adachi took off his gear and walked into his basment and flicked on the lights, the light flickered on to reveal a giant lab, Adachi walked over to a table with some kinda of blue prints on them. He smirked ''Sorry alexander you dont think you would have gotten them that easyly'' the blue prints he gave Alexander were a copy that he had put some minor flaws into but, he made the most flaws on the hyper drive he know the only reason he would want them back is if he had some giant plan going on in his head.

Adachi took a seat and looked at the blue prints to the D-Wheel he had modifyed them greatly then he looked over to a Dismembered looking D-Wheel, ''Your going to need a lot of work.'' he said as he closed his eyes.

Rune looked over at the door that Kaname had just busted in from he jump out of his seat, ''Hey Kaname! Where have you bin? We have bin waiting for you, Mr. Lester was just brifing us on the mission.'' Rune looked over to Jess and the empty seat next to her, ''Arans of dueling for honor or something and whatnot.'' Rune sat back into his chair and slid one over for Kaname and looked back over to Lester.

Aden curiously cants his head, wondering what he was supposed to do, since he was sort of unclear on the details and stuff.

"What am I supposed to do, Nash? Where do I go? How do I get there? Who am I gonna go with?" He asked, trying to remember, but he just couldn't, since he just spent, like, a few hours practicing his awesome claw skills and stuff.

Kaname had quietly taken a seat next to Rune who had held a chair for him in the meeting. "Thank you Rune, I've had a crazy day yesterday, a tag duel with a mysterious stranger against cops that were chasing him and then aother thirty cops had given him another chase in which he had vanished in thin air by going so fast. I think he was using some kind of modded D-Wheel."

Kaname had turned to Rune and asked quietly "Have I missed anything in the meeting so far? Has the main intention of the Nova Progam been revealed?!"

"wait a second these blue prints, Arrggggg, Adachi you will regret this" said Nash finally noticing that the blue prints though complete had some changes and flaws to them, slowing him down by a month or so, "which reminds me i should give Aden the map he needs"

"Aden i just remembered, here is a general map of where they might be" said Nash, "Our spies have confirmed a few areas of where their base might possibly be however we are not sure, go to everyone of these areas and if you find any strange disturbances you are probably at the base"

"Please be careful, also try to find this man" said Nash handing Aden a picture of Adachi, "This man stole something very important from me, my blue prints, if you find him try to make him tell you the where abouts of my blue prints alright"

"these two robots will drop you off outside, Good luck Aden you will need it" said Nash

"Uh-huh, okay. Gotcha, go find the guy. Mhm, got it. No problem-o." He said, nodding his head, taking the map and the picture. He looked at Adachi's picture, wondering what type of person would be able to steal something important from Nash, who was pretty much one of the more important 'objects' in his database. He also began to contemplate on what sort of blueprints the Adachi-person had taken, maybe it was of a new duel monsters thing.

"Do I need a duel disk, Nash?" He asked, not really thinking of needing to know things outside of a laboratory. To be honest, he'd be like a true, curious, little kid once he leaves the laboratory because he pretty much only knows duel monsters and some of the basic descriptions he could make out just from pictures and words on the cards.

Rune looked at Kaname almost wide eyed, ''A modded D-Wheel you say? We were just brifed on invading a Socitey base to get blue prints for a massive powered D-Wheel, He also said thare was a stolen Proto-type could that have bin what you saw? What were you doing out thare anyway?'' Rune said almost out of breath he was exited to see his friend again. Rune sat quiet again waiting for Kaname's responce.

Cleared her throat and began to talk, "Uh...Rune I think your name was, should'nt we uh tell them about the guy, who blasted a hole in the wall with his D-wheel?" she said taking a second to catch her breath. " I mean I don't know much about D-wheels or about the guy who has the proto-one, but I believe you should tell them about him, considering ya'know...just in case.." she trailed off and sat back in her seat.

''Oh right'' Rune said, ''Im postitive that hes not our guy but, yeah some dumbass busted the wall over at the dorms, I belive he said his name was Matt right?'' he looked over at Jess still not knowing her name. ''Thats about all the action we got after the duel Arans getting the most of it.'' He added, ''Lucky bastard better put that card to good use.'' he thought.

"No you wont remember that dueling takes away nearly all your energy, if you were to duel then you would be powerless and stranded in enemy territory so no" said Nash, "Avoid dueling at all costs, run if you have to, just make sure that you dont Duel" warned Nash

"Now off you go alright, my the lord be with you" said Nash

Kaname looked at Rune with a smirk and said. "Yes, I'm not joking around, the boy was riding a modded D-Wheel. It took off at the speed of light when he had reached 12 Speed Counters on Speed World. It was one of the most incredile things I have seen in a while. One man out running thirty trained Society police officers."

Kaname had gotten more comfortable in his chair and sat in a slouching manner. "Can you tell me more about the Project and how they selected the applicants for it?"

Rune smiled at him, ''Sure can, apperently every one in the room here is going to swarm the Sociteys base in teams of two i think it was maybe three im not sure, you know me not one to pay attention much, heheh. Right now we are asking questions about the Program now.'' he said. ''Also.'' he added as he pointed to the screen infront of him, ''Thats the place we are swarming.'' he looked around at every one again, ''As you can see this is every one else thats in the Nova program.''

Kaname was astounded! He never thought they would try a direct route of battling the Society! "What?! How would we ever get in that place?! It looks like a fortress. There will be hundreds of guards probably and were only bringing ten people in? What is Commander Lester thinking? This mission sounds like suicide!"

Kaname was still worried about Jess and Aran getting into harm. He then outbursted in front of everyone to the Commander. "You're just throwing us out there to be slaughtered?! What's your plan, how are we getting in?! Just what is that building anyway!"

He caught his tounge during his rant and apologized to everyone in the room. "I'm very sorry sir, please explain to me your plan for infiltration."

"Alright, I'm glad people are asking questions." said Lester, "Well the reason why we want these blueprints should be obvious, we want to know why these are so important to the Society and also maybe we can utilize these Blueprints and make our own D-Wheel."

"The point of this operation is to annihilate the Society, the Blueprints are just a plus to further our technology." said Wilfred butting in.


"Anyway I think we have wasted enough time here, now is the time to figure out your teams and your routes into the Base." "The Base likely is lined with booby-traps, so be extra careful out there people. Also I want to let you know that Dueling is inevitable so be prepared in that department too." Lester said attaching his Duel Disk to his arm and putting an overcoat on.

"This is not going to be a walk in the park people, be on your guard at all times, remember who we are dealing with." Lester shouted.

"If you need more information on the Nova Program don't hesitate to ask via COM-Link." Wilfred said.

"Jeffory I want you to guide anyone who asks for help while we enter the Base, got it?" Lester shouted

"Yes sir!!" Wilfred exclaimed.

Rune gets up pushing the chair back a little and grabs Kanames shoulder, ''Well man, how about you and me like the good old days ehh?'' Kaname seemed to be tence, ''You ok Kaname? Feeling alright.. I wouldnt worry about the kids they will be ok, they are strong.'' he said trying to reasure Kaname as he looked over to Jess, ''Right?'' he asked her.

Jess lifted her head up from the table and yawned." I'm just gonna agree with whatever you said", she said as she got up from her chair." I was considering that aran kid but I don't think hes gonna make it.."she sighed. "Any ideas?"

Rune looked to Kaname then to Jess, ''Well i guess you shouldnt go over thare alone one of could go with you insted or you can just come along with us.'' Rune said with somewhat of a sigh, he looked over to Kaname, ''Well what do you think buddy?'' he said as he fell back into the chair waiting for one of them to respond.

As they drive towards the Society Subbase, Mist's phone rings. She picked up the phone answering, "Hello, Melody. It's been a while." At the Society Subbase Garage Gate, Melody is leaning against a wall, staring out at the road responding, "Indeed, it has. So, let's get down to business. Are you heading for the cordinates I gave you six days ago?" In the truck, Mist briefly looked at the Guidance System responding, "Yes, we are. Why? Did something change in those days?" Over the phone, Melody responds, "No, and you said "We". Who else did you decide to bring with you on this escapade?" Mist responds, "The kid that rode the Prototype D-Wheel and lived."

At the Society Subbase Garage Gate, Melody took the phone away from her ear in amasement, calmly thinking to herself, "There's actually someone crazy enough to ride that thing? Especially since that bike was declared incomplete." Melody quickly regained composure and picked up the phone again replying, "Hm...you know. I'll help out. Can you stop by my location?" Over the phone, Mist replies, "Sure. Where is this location?" Melody responds, At the Society Subgate, there's a garage. Head over to it and I'll be waiting at the gate." Over the phone, Mist replies, "Let's change that location to somewhere that's conveinient for both. Let's head for the basement bar located near an alleyway in town." Melody responds, "Alright then, see you soon." As she hanged up the phone, she got onto a red-tinted D-Wheel, and drove off to that location.

In the truck, Mist responds, "Change of plans. We get to meet up with someone at a rendevous point and we'll all go together to the Society Subbase." Izumi slowly nods and stares off into the scenary responding, "Go ahead. The more, the merrier, right?" Mist laughs and replies, "Ha. I never thought that this day would come. Anyway, let's head for that location," as she heads to the rendevous point.

Jun stood there, waiting.. but no one would ever guess why, he had taken his phone out and attached a cord to it from a small black box.

"This is JACK, I need you to send me the information on the new D-Wheel, I am going into the base soon, I need to make sure no one finds out about this, I already called a cleaner"

After a low beep and a slight ping, Jun unplugged his phone and took a disk out of the box, placing it into a plastic container before putting it in his bag along with the box.

"I have the data, make sure everything is taken care of by the time I get to the lab"

Jun hung up his phone and put it into his pocket and began to walk toward a small purple car that had just pulled up next to the sidewalk.

Kaname had put his hand on his chin, he was boggling his mind over weter or not he had wanted Jess to be on his team. For fear of her getting into danger without him by her side to protect her and to stop her from making stupid choices he turned to Jess, bent down so he was at her eye level and gave the response. "Hmm, Jess are you up to this dangerous task? I am warning you now that along this path, there will be many fierce duels, the fighting will nearly seem endless and I won't be able to protect you to the best of my ability. Do you think you can handle the things I've just stated?" he said with his eyes full of concern.

He got back up, sat in his seat and turned his attention towards Rune and responded to him. "Well, old friend it appears we have another battle ahead of us." His eyes had lit with his fighting spirit, you could see he was ready for this mission even though he had doubted some of the commanders choices.

He made a friendly wager to Rune. "Let's see who can take out the most of this Society trash, to the winner. Hmmm...well, do you have anything in mind for the winner of the contest? If you accept it that is?"

He gave a joking laugh to Rune and awaited Jess and Runes responses.

Rune also laughed, ''Lets do it, I dout they got anything that could put a dent in our team, YEAH!'' Rune had gotten pumped he was ready to put every thing at risk for Kaname. Rune then looked back to Jess, ''Well what do you say? Up for some fun. Heheh.'' once again he got up from his seat, ''Well, what are we waiting for, ehh?'' he sai in a great hurry.

Jess gave a small bow before began to talk, " Well as it happens I fell asleep half-way through the meeting, So I believe it is in the best intrest of the nova project that I come with you so I can assist you as well as know the bases location." As she finished she had but a single thought "Hook, line, and sinker", she thought as she smiled back at him.
