S. Revolt: The Return of the Society Arc II: Invasion of Chaos

Rune slowly nodded at Jess as he pulled out a small knife from his jacket. He walked over to a door with a small code panal on it below it thare was a small box, Rune hit it and the box broke to reveal some wires. Rune started to think as he moved his hand around the wires, he then grabed a green wire and cut it, he did the same to a red wire. Rune then twisted the wires together and pulled out his COM-link and connected the wire into a small opening in the COM-link. The COM-link started to flash and made some sounds as it hacked the door. The door slid open, ''Heheh, glad i got that App awhile back.'' he said smirking and feeling proud about him self. He swiftly swung his knife into his jacket and waved Jess over, ''Common lets go.'' he said, as he walked inside.

At the basement bar, Mist and Izumi met up with Melody at a table with a few drinks. Melody asks, "Is this the kid that survived?" Mist responds, "Yes, it is. His deck should be formidable against most of the guards inside that subbase, so I think it's time to get started." Izumi looked at both of them and just shrugged, before taking a sip of Lemonade. Melody responds, "You know. I'm done with the Society, so I want to go with you on this escapade." Mist smiles, "I thought you would say that, so I got extra room to fit your D-Wheel inside the truck. Anyway, I think we'll need your help getting past the first couple of gates inside. So, I assume we'll take the Garage route?" Melody nods, responding, "Alright. Let's go!" as all three of them exit the bar.

Before leaving the area, Melody loaded her D-Wheel next to Izumi's D-Wheel and Mist's D-Wheel and entered the truck with Mist and Izumi, departing for the Subbase.

As they near the Society Subbase, the truck's Guidance System responds, "Auto pilot, engaged," as the truck slowly began to open revealing the D-Wheels. Mist responds, "Alright, everyone. Please head for your respectful D-Wheel and let's head for the base." Izumi and Melody went onto their respectful D-Wheels, activated them, and drove off the truck, speeding to the Society Subbase. Mist slowly turned to view the Society Subbase one last time, before getting onto her silver-tinted D-Wheel, activating the D-Wheel, and drove off the truck, speeding to the Society Subbase.

All three D-Wheel went into auto-pilot, as Mist states, "We know that there's some people waiting for us, now, we'll be careful as to where to enter. Since the area, we are entering has a wide-enough room for our D-Wheels to fit, we'll use those to get inside and go around the base. Now, please listen as I tell you one thing. There might be something lurking in the base making sure that our mission fails. We need to make it a success. Do I make myself clear?" Izumi and Melody both responds, "Roger," as all three of them enter the Subbase Garage and briefly stopped to survey the area undetected, before continuing.

Jess hurried in happy that her chance was finally here...

In the society base, in the moniter room stood a lone man with a corpse in the chair beside him. " When I say let me in... I mean it," the man said as he removed a knife from the corpses chest ." commander will understand...but more pressing issues are at hand." The man looked at the moniters and chuckled, "did those people honestly believe we would'nt have cameras...I should report this...but then Id ruin the suprise."The man chuckled.As he was looking at the screens something caught his eye.″...Her hairs diffrent.″Was all he could muster before he headed out seeing his objective in the screen.

Rune walked down the hall of the Society base wondering where the blueprints would be, he looked around every where going past alot of rooms and went through alot of curving halls, ''Well, heheh it looks like we are lost.'' he said forgeting he had a map, ''Hey.. I dont recall ever getting your name girl.'' he said turning to Jess. He continued walking waiting for a responce.

Kaname had walked to the point he allocated to form the head of the triangle. If his plan had worked then his team could singlehandedly scout out the perimiter of the sub-base while waiting for reinforcments. When he had gotten a good view of the place he thought "If those two can follow my orders then we'll have a major advantage by knowing the patterns and some of the movement of the first few levels of the base."

Kaname was taking notes of people, most likely grunts moving around doing nothing out of the ordinary on the first floor and people moving from the first floor to BF1.

"I'll wait a little longer before the other teams arrive and are ready for infiltration"

Slowly, almost casually Reeve and Souji got into position, the sub-base within sight. They stopped briefly to hide behind a bush to wait for the other teams to get into position before moving in, but from the looks of things they could get in with little trouble. Reeve paused for a moment to take a swing out of the little silver flask he always kept handy and shook his body a bit.

"Phew, nothin' like the wait just before a big ole mission, ey Souji?" Reeve said, putting the flask away. Taking out his gun, he snapped it open and spun the ammo barrel around. "so, yer ready for a showdown with da bad guys?"

Souji looked over are Reeve with a blank look on his face.

"Well Reeve, not really. I just want this to be over and done with so I can go back to sleep." he said while yawning. To anyone else, he seemed to just be lazily sitting there waiting. But, once the mission got fully underway, Souji would be more focused than anyone else.

"Same here!" Reeve laughed as he inserted a bullet into his gun, snapped it shut and placed it in his holster before he activated his duel disk. "One cover fer infiltration, comin' right up!" He announced to the other units through the COM-Link, and then activated his Dust Tornado trap card. A cyclone of wind suddenly appeared, with winds growing bigger and stronger, kicking up dirt and dust that blanketed the whole area. Visibility lessened greatly so that if anyone in the base were to look out, they couldn't see anything unless they were right in front of them, but fortunately everyone knew where the base was and could quickly move in without being seen.

"Alright Souiji, let's go!" Reeve said as he dashed towards the base, disk and gun in hand. "Yeeeee-haw!"

In a dingy drafty holding cell, James awakens from unconsciousness. "H-...Wha-...Ugh, Where am I?" James thought as he tried to muster enough strength to get on his feet. "Man *touching his head* what the hell was that all about?" James suddenly remembers a moment before he blacked out.

"I never expected the Society to move so fast after a long absence." thought James. "Well Charlie, thanks a lot for this information, I'm sure we could use all we can."

Charlie suddenly said "The Society is a lot stronger than you remember James, be extra careful.."

James replied with a smile "Don't worry Charlie, we always get the job done." said James "I have to tell this to Tabor as soon as possible." thought James, "Well if that's all then I better go check on my friend."

Then a blinding pain went through James' head as he blacked out.

"Tch, should have known Charlie was with the Society..*touches head and feels bump* man, he could have at least done something about this environment that i'm stuck in now...where the hell am I anyway?" James said as he took notice to his surroundings.

He was in a holding Cell which was located on probably the lowest level since the way it was decorated meant it wasn't a very important place. The Cell was drafty and leaked a bit from where the toilet overflowed, the bars were rusted and there were no guards anywhere to be found, all there was was a camera facing James location from the top north-west side of the room.

James noticed a table a few feet from his Cell, which held his personal belongings. "Damn if only I could whip out my COM-Link to see exactly where I am, *gives out a sigh* Lester isn't going to be happy about this."

Kaname had paced back and fourth continuosly in the spot he was scouting the sub-base from. He had begun to get worried that nobody from his team made contact with him. "I wonder if they ignored my orders and went in alone. I told them how stupid that would be!"

Kaname began a blind sprint for the half-open window to which he could easily slip into the base from. All of a sudden he had seen a tornado the flung up a bunch of dust outside the main entrance of the base. On the side of the tornado using it as a distraction Kaname could make out two familliar figures. It was Souji and Reeve! Kaname decided that this was his chance to get into the base with two strong allies to watch his back for the time being.

He caught up to them before they started their darring dash inside the base and yelled. "Hey Reeve! Souji! Wait for me!"

Aran laid with his back against the wall thinking how pathetic he was...."I told Kan he could count on me..." Aran started to get up after resting for a while. Then he heard footsteps and the sound of people coming there way..."I wont leave it like this." Aran said firmly. He picked up all the cards that were on the ground and sorted them out. Stuffing Matt's safely in his coat pocket as he keep all others since they were fair game. "Matt you might be a douche but at least you know who you are." Aran said with an even tone. "Matt I dont know what's in store for you...or me but I couldn't care less right now. Stay here and tell them that only you were here. I dont care what you have to say to convince them that you were the only one here." Aran grabbed the the totalled Duel Runner and pulled it behind the corner as he began to look at it. "Awesome just a few over-heated and overworked parts...I'm sure Matt wouldn't mind..." Aran got to work as he quickly replaced his internal motor parts with Matt's. "Aran revved the engine..."Thanks Matt I owe ya one." Aran saying all this knowing Matt was partly unconcious at the time.
"Aran raced off knowing this was not the last he would see of his friend the "Spark of Justice".
Aran's thoughts turned towards Jess and Kan. "I need to find them. I have to find them. I...cant lose them, too." Aran's thoughts quickly turned to the other time....what other time? Aran couldn't remember...He could never remember..."I just gotta find them." Aran raced through the corridors and stopping at each door until he found the room Kan mentioned earlier a cybernetic hi-tech super computer basically. Aran thought this could help him find his friends....Aran hid his Runner around a nearby corner as he waited for a "White coat" to come drifting by....

Tabor quietly grunted as he tried to stick to the shadows of the room. "Come on... Infiltration's definitely not my strong point, but with everybody distracted by the Nova program, there aren't exactly a lot of options... What's going on now..."

He swallowed as he checked his COM-Link. James's location seemed to be still, but without a map of the place, it was quite easy for him to get lost or stumble into someone, and he had no idea which level James would be on.

"No other options... I'm already in here now... Let's just hope they didn't catch on."

*ERRRR* *ERRR* suddenly flashing lights went on and alerted the whole place

"Warning System Alert" said the Computer "Intruders located in Subbase lower areas"

"What the!, intruders , Get Video of them" said Nash

"Unable to, the cameras are being jammed by a signal and the outside cameras are unable to see in the dust" said the Computer

"Hmm put everyone on Red Alert Status" Said Nash, "And send in the guards to handle the intruders, probably not worth my time" said Nash

"WARNING INTRUDER ALERT, all guards on Red Alert." said the computer "All guards in area 2 apprehend suspects for questioning"

Nash quickly left the room moving towards his lab, finally all the parts needed for his D Wheel was here. Motor parts, gears, and metal scraps scattered around the lab.

"It is time to finalize my master piece" said Nash with a smirk

" My name is Jess.. Jess varya" Jess said finally begining to relax..." I watched your duel aga-" Jess stopped talking seeing that there were more important matters at hand... " We should get going..."

Rune looked up at the red lights, ''Yeah, we should find the the place where they are hiding these blueprints, Hmmm.. Wonder where they would be.. Oh!'' Rune pulled out his COM-link remebering he had a map on of the base on thare, ''Wow we are way off course, come on this way.'' Rune waved her over as he slid on a wall looking thought the halls making sure it was clear to run through.

''Looks like the coast is clear, it seems the blue prints are going to be in a lab of some sort at the bottem of an elevator shaft.'' Rune wasnt that smart as you can tell but he had his moments, He ran through the halls ocasonaly looking around him and making sure Jess was keeping up.

Hearing some light footsteps in the hall way the guard goes checks it out

"Halt who goes there" said the guard shining a bright light at the intruder

The guard slowly approaches and says, "Kid put your hands up where i can see them and no one gets hurt, lets settle this peacefully alright"

the guard reaches into his pocket secretly and switches on his radio which starts sending out a signal alerting the system and the rest of the guards where the intruder was

Later in the Lab

"Almost done and soon i will finally have a Bike of my own that wont get stolen this time" said Nash,

"Dr. Nash the guards have located the intruder" said the computer

"Robots continue applying upgrades to this D Wheel I have got business to take care of in the central room" said Nash, "Time to get rid of this rat we have, make sure you get a video of the intruder I want all cameras up and running scanning every part of this building, rats are always in packs" said Nash

"It is almost time" thought Nash," with this I am sure i can finally complete my real assignment and leave this god forsaken place, but first things first i guess, gotta deal with the pests"

Rune puts his hands up right near his sword and looks behind him to see where Jess was, ''Good..'' he muttered under his breath. ''Now now Mister Guard, how about we do this rasonaly say up for a duel?'' Rune smirked, he slowly pulled his hands down to where his deck pack was and opened it to pull his deck out, he arced his arm with his duel disk and put his deck into the duel disk. The duel disk activated and made some electronic noices, ''Heheh, well what do you say?'' he stared at the gaurd with a smirk on his face waiting for a reply.

The Guard a bit surprised to hear such confidence from a kid, but none the less his opponent was a kid

"Alright lets have a little duel brat" said the Guard thinking that dueling them not only will make them surrender but buy enough time for the other guards to get here, not like he was going to lose though

"Ready Kid" said the guard as he brought out his duel disk, "It is time to DUEL, your move after all you are the guest"

Suddenly the floor was illuminated with the lights generated from the duel disks and the duel was on the way

''Pfft. Kid? Hahaha.'' Rune seemed annoyed by what the guard said, he his hand swiftly and drew his sixth. He smirked, ''Well it looked like my luck has changed from my last duel. You will be an easy kill.. Grunt!'' Rune placed a face down monster and put to cards into his magic and trap slots, ''I place two face cards in my back field and a monster face down. Heheh, this should be good for now. I end! Make your pointless move. I have this in the bag.'' Rune laughed and waited for the guard to go.

Rune laughed at him, ''Hmpt, Just get on with it.'' rune looked cocky but he really wasnt. The lights around him flashed and luminated his cards as he desided to do with his next turn, waiting for the fuard to finish his turn.

"I then play Guidance to Ore and then I declare an attack with Sandman, Go forth Sandman and use Crushing earth" said the Guard

Suddenly the giant golem looking like monster got up raised its armed then dropped it on the face down monster...

"hmmm seems like a duel is going on eh", said Dr. Nash, "Computer give me an image of who is dueling"

"right away sir" said the computer

On the screen it appeared, the guard and Rune dueling it out

"Hmm don't know that person but I do know that emblem if anything, that is the resistance dammit they already invaded", "Guards High alert status now, look for anyone that bears the resistance emblem" Shouted Nash into the speaker phone.

"I guess i should prepare a wonderful puzzle for these folks" said Nash as he typed in the commands for the base

Guidance to Ore

Rune smirked as he swiped his hand over the field and his monster fliped, it revialed Bringer of the light, ''Haha, sorry ''old timer''.'' he said a blue appeared from the fliped card it simply put his hand out and a small sheild of light blocked the core monsters attack. ''You'll have to do alot better then that.'' he said waiting for the guard to end his turn.
