S. Revolt: The Return of the Society Arc II: Invasion of Chaos

"Well then! Let's get it started!" Souji said excitedly. He was itching to duel, however this kid seemed rather distant. Maybe it was just Souji's imagination but this kid seemed to have no real soul behind those piercing eyes.

Souji quickly activated his duel disk and proceeded to draw his opening hand after it automatically shuffled his deck.

"Alright kid, you can start off."

Souji - 8000

Noah reluctantly drew his hand, though he made sure not to show it. This guy seemed... different than the people he was used to being around.. Maybe it was because he was used to being stuck in a lab most of his life.. Still.. This guy.. His eyes were still different than his own.

"Draw" Noah said as he swiped a card from his duel disk, peering at it without turning his head.

"I'll summon "Sonic Fairy - Melody" in defense mode."


A small tune resonated as the small fairy was summoned.

"Melody's special ability activates... When she is summoned, I am able to add 1 "Sacrifice In Harmony" magic card from my deck to my hand.

He pulled his deck out of his duel disk, then plucked a card, setting it in his hand and putting his deck back into the disk right afterwards. As the disk began shuffling his deck, he made his next play.

"I'll set one card face down and end my turn." He glared at the man.

When Riches arm had re-healed, and his screaming had subsided, he got up from the wall he was slouched against.He flipped open his phone.

"Goddamnit," he said looking at its crushed remains. "I'll have to find out what the alarm was about by myself,after a quick stop by my ward." he said as hobbled toward the door, a medium sized piece of shrapnel was embedded in his leg, his leg had healed before he had a chance to remove it, being the main reason he was headed to his ward.
"lets see," he said noticing the strangely queit hallways, He headed to his ward, it was a few hallways down on the first floor.

"Jack!" Jess screamed when she looked up, she began to get up from her prone position and sprinted down the hallway towards Jack, A few meters away from him she stopped and raised her duel disk.

"Heh heh, I'll feed your anger," Jack said as he lifted his duel disk, thinking around the complications that were going to occur sinc Jess was not alone like last time.

Rune looked over at the man named Jack, ''I guess thats her brother. Hmmm, Well I guess thares no harm in letting her duel him.'' he said to him self and started to walk over to the duel. Rune took a spot next to Jess eyeing Jack as he waited for the duel to start.

''Hmpt.. I draw!'' Said the yellow guard as he draw a card and added it into his hand. He stared at his cards then said, ''I'll place one face down monster and end my turn seeing as I dont have much I can do right now..'' he said as he placed a monster face down and looked up at the two Duelist infront of him.

Aran soon found a pair of faint foot tracks and followed them hoping they were the tracks of one of his friends. Aran then saw that he was facing a dugout pit, much like an underground base. Aran quickly went back to get his Duel Runner and zoom down the path he hoped his friends had taken as well...

"This is it...I need to find them, and I have a feeling they might be closer than I think."

Lorelei felt just as antagonized by Jack's words and his demeanor as Jess possibly could have. She immediately labeled Jack as a bully, torturing Jess for his own, sick games. She stepped out in front of Jess, and held her arm out in front of her. She realized it was a personal matter, but Lorelei didn't want Jess to be goaded by Jack any worse than she already was.

"Jess," she started, "let me duel this asshole. He'll just end up fueling your fire if you take him on." Lorelei adjusted her glasses, "Besides, I've wanted to crush a maggot like this for some time now." She lifted her duel disk. The disk on Lorelei's right arm reacted to her nerve reflex, and switched out of standby mode into its duel mode. The board was now ready, and Lorelei removed the deck from her container and placed it into the disk's proper slot.

The dim lights of the sub-base's hallway reflected against Lorelei's lenses, which blocked the view of her eyes. Her glasses appeared completely white. Although this was often a cliché used in animation, it could definitely be assumed that Lorelei's expression wasn't just threatening, but she was even more so.

"What do you say, punk? I could teach you a thing or two about manners."

Aran raced down the sub-base's corridors on his Duel Runner hoping to find his friends.

"Kan must have been in some kind of trouble by the way he sounded...I haven't heard from Rune..or Jess..."

Aran turned a corner speeding as the lights overhead flashed over him one by one. Suddenly his device stopped working due to the eerie frequencies in this place...

"Well that's just great..." Aran said sarcastically.

"Now how am I going to find them...?" Aran started to think back to those that he had waiting for him.

Aran closed his eyes then opened them to look at his path zooming in front of him.

"Kimi, Kaci, Lizz...they believed in me. Now I have to believe in myself. About time I carried my own weight and did things for myself for once instead of relying on luck and chance. Its time for me to take control!"Aran revved the engine to max throttle as he started to feel refreshed by the speed and reborn by the path he had finally decided on taking.

"I'll find you, my friends and then I'll be there for you. I'm coming." Aran raced on into the unknown depths hoping against hope to find what might not be anymore...

"Ok time to get away with all my items" thought Nash

"Transport me to Subbase lvl 3 Computer" said Nash

"Ok Sir" said the Computer

An elevator opened up while Nash got all his things, he quickly got into it and rode it all the way down

"Time to think this through, how can i escape with everything, the D Wheel my project, what can I do to escape" thought Nash

He continue to think all the way down the elevator

" You...you teach me manners.." Jack frowned, "I'm simply settling a small family dispute," Jack sighed as he reached for his deck in his jacket pocket, he paused thought to himself for a few seconds and moved his hand away.

"Hmm, Jekyll, Hyde..." he said, " I'm not in the mood to duel brats who barge in on family matters, duel the girl and the boy, come back to the mess hall when your finished." Jack sighed as turned his back on the group, " Oh and if they win..please don't lie to them."

"Predictable as the sunrise," Lorelei responded, "You're going to hide behind your goons. I can't say I'm surprised with a bully like you. You always back down when something is inconvenient for you and make someone else do the dirty work for you." She looked at Rune and nodded her head, and turned back to Jack's two underlings, "I guess Tweedledee and Tweedledum aren't going to give us a choice."

Lorelei rose her duel disk, prepared to challenge the two lackeys that Jack had the nerve to sick on them. "I'll just crush your subjects and then come after you. Of course, I find two on one awfully unfair. My friend Rune will assist me. Am I right, Rune?" She crossed her arms, awaiting the beginning of the duel. "Sorry to say, but it will take more than Dumb and Dumber to defeat us." She said everything so austerely, and her posture was just as much so. Lorelei certainly had no patience for vexation.

Jack felt a small migraine forming in his head as he walked away , “kids these days think they know everything “ , he thought as he passed hyde. Jack Reached to hydes side and lifted his gun off of him...

Jekkyl watched out the corner of his eye as Jack performed the act, he waited for Jack to go around the corner before he began to speak,“ Alright, we both know what Jacks doing is wrong,” he said, directing his words to the girl. “But Its my job to guard this place...also theres no need reason to namecall,” he added as he raised his duel disk.“ I'm Jekkyl and my partner is Hyde..." he said noticing Hyde wasn't in a talking mood.

Jess stared at the ground, feeling herself grow angrier at the fact she had lost Jack again,“its because of that girl..” she thougyt as she clenched her fist...“I'll..wait untill they're a few turns in...then I'll ditch them.” she thought to herself.

"Alright then finally it's my turn, Draw!" James drew his card with excitement, "Alright then I activate my face-down Trap Card, Limit Reverse!!" A spiraling vortex appeared on James' field "I'll use this card to Special Summon a 1000 atk or less Monster from my Graveyard in Attack Position, I choose Demon Roar God Cruz!!" The little demon bat girl re-appeared on the field "Now then I shall tune my Demon Roar God Cerberal and Cruz together for a level 4 Synchro Summon" said James confidently "Demons take flight, their roars summon out the Beast within, Synchro Summon, Roar Proudly, Demon Roar God Beast Unicor!!!" A White Unicorn came riding in with a tiny Demon Bat on the saddle. "Now then let's shake things up a bit shall we? I'll be attacking that face-down Monster of yours with Demon Roar God Legion!" a huge shockwave headed for the Yellow Guards Monster in defense position.

"The effect of my Revenge Wraith activates! When your monster destroys it, my monster will drag it down the the grave with it and inflict half it's Attack Points to your Lifepoints! In addition to that, I activate my trap card, Take You With Me, which will also destroy your Demon Roar God Unicor!"

Ghostly hands rose from beneath the feet of Jame's monsters, reaching out and grabbing hold of their legs.

James gave out a smirk as the Yellow Guard laughed with his seemingly "good combo" "Heh you think those effects will actually work?!" said James "I think it's time you realized the special effect of my Demon Roar God Unicor" James pointed at his hand as well as everyone elses "You see since our hands are equal my Beast can negate any spell/trap or Monster effect! Now then go 'Law of the Roar Gods!!'" Unicor's horn shined with a bright light that negated Revenge Wraiths ability as well as the Yellow guard's Trap Card "Now then on with the onslaught, Demon Roar God Beast Unicor! Attack the Red Guard directly, RUSHING HORN!!!" Unicor rapidly approached the Red Guard...

"I activate Damage Lance!" The Red Guard activated. "When my opponent declares a direct attack on my Lifepoints, this card reduces that monster's ATK by 1000, then inflicts 1000 points of damage to his Lifepoints! And unfortunetely for you, my hand is not the same as yours." He grinned as he held up the three cards he was holding. Unicor's attack suddenly dropped. Still, Unicor's horn still struck him, knocking down his lifepoints.

"Don't you get cocky just because you've gotten a hit in!"

"You make a better first impression that I had expected," Lorelei had pleasantly remarked, "Unfortunately, you're in the way. My friends here have a mission to accomplish, but I was hoping to get that other loser out of the way. I was honestly hoping that this wouldn't happen, but there is no avoiding it, is there?" Lorelei removed her deck from the container on her right hip, and placed it inside her duel disk's recognition slot.

"I don't doubt either of your skills as duelists," Lorelei said, "but I'm afraid against duelists like Rune and myself, you do not stand a ghost of a chance." The light being produced from the ceiling reflected off of Lorelei's red-framed glasses. Her expression, her words, her tone, all were solemn. The aura generated from Lorelei's demeanor wasn't of egotistical nature; in fact, she said this so casually as if she actually knew the outcome.

Aran sped down the corridors and came to a slow as the shadows off of the wall and angles shifted suspiously. Aran started to push his Runner and started talking to himself again...
It wasnt long before he got back on and continued on a brisk pace on his Runner stopping only to look around corners as it was obviouly getting ever more complex inside its walls. After a while, Aran finds himself overcome by a icy chill and a piercing glare upon him.

???: "That boy is a wild card..a blank sheet with such a simple yet trivial canvas. What he shall become relies entirely on his connections. So fragile..."

Aran continued as he felt a feeling of eyes upon him.

Jekkyl could feel a bit of dread inside of him as she answered,he knew full well he and Hyde would lose, just about everyone at the base dueled like there lives depended on it.He and Hyde had only ever dueled for fun prior to their enrollment. "You know I only joined because of you Hyde...I don't agree with what they're doing here...but I promised to keep you safe old pal... So that's what I'm gonna do Hyde..." Jekkyl finished his monolouge happily, resigning himself to his fate as he activated his duel disk,raising his arm as he looked over at Hyde...

"Hmm... Judging from that...rather naive look,my young friend...You're resistance are'nt ya..." Jack could barely quell his excitement as a thought entered his mind,"That means..you most likely..." Jack stopped for a bit, noticing that the young wild card had a small look of hostility on his face.

"There's no need to be hostile my friend, I...I no longer serve the societys best intrest.. if you get my drift." Jack said,catching his breath before he continued. "You see..it has come to my attention that my dear sister has joined your little...group. And I have nothing but her best intrest in my heart..." Jack said,slightly suprised Aran hadnt said anything yet. "At any rate...her name is Jessica..she has a rather..noticeable scar on her eye..and I was wondering if you could do something for me to...help her in her battle against the society" Jack chuckled inside looking at the suitcase the duel disk and syringe were safely in...

(For referance Doremon will be taking over Hyde for the duration of the tag duel.)

Rune looked at the two with lazy yet fiery eyes as he thought how he would handle the current situation laid before him. As Rune looked up at the ceiling his hand slowly but surely placed his deck into his duel disk pondering something that was at the back of his mind..

"A duel is what you want, right?" Rune said with a rash monotone.

Rune thought of what would become of this duel, how it would play out and what purpose it served.

"There's no purpose in stalling any longer," Lorelei noted, "That brat needs a spanking, but I can deal with him later. Now, raise your duel disks." Lorelei's left arm lifted, and her duel disk automatically switched online when her deck was placed inside of its recognition slot.

"Duel!," she shouted.

Lorelei drew five cards plus a sixth to make her hand and add onto her first turn. "I'll be taking the first turn. First, I summon Lonefire Blossom in attack position!" A plant with a hissing bomb in place of its bulb crawled out of a white wormhole made from the solid visions. "Next, I activate the effect of my Lonefire Blossom. Once per turn, I can tribute a face-up Plant-type monster I control to Special Summon a Plant-type monster from my Deck. I'll tribute Lonefire Blossom itself, and I already have a monster in mind." The duel disk conducted a scan of Lorelei's deck, and then ejected the appropriate card. Lorelei removed it, holding it between two fingers, and slid Lonefire Blossom off of its slot. The plant's bomb had lost its fuse, and then promptly detonated. The smoke thinly veiled the silhouette of a much larger monster.

"The monster I summoned was Gigaplant," Lorelei remarked. The smokescreen cleared and the hologram reflected this. "Gigaplant is a Gemini monster, so for it to gain its effect, I have to normal summon it while it's on the field." Lorelei took one more card from her hand, "I activate the spell card Double Summon, which grants me the ability to normal summon an additional time this turn. I'll use that normal summon on my Gigaplant!" The giant, intimidating plant growled, lifting to its full height as Lorelei declared its summon. "Now I activate Gigaplant's effect, which allows me to special summon a Plant-type monster from my hand or Graveyard once per turn. I'm using its effect to revive my Lonefire Blossom!" The volatile plant appeared again from a bluish-white vortex.

"I can activate its effect once more this turn. By tributing Lonefire Blossom, I special summon another Plant-type monster from my deck." The duel disk picked another card out for Lorelei, and the Lonefire Blossom's bomb swelled up and exploded again. "I picked Tytannial, Princess of Camellias." A anthropomorphic plant appeared, taking the form of a woman wearing a crown made from the buds of a rose. She bloomed from the center of a giant flower. She crossed her two leafy arms, and stared upon Jekkyl and Hyde with a carefully guarded smile.

"I set two cards and then end my turn there," Lorelei said. She passed a slight glance at Rune, but immediately returned her attention to their two opponents. Her first turn started out pretty well, she had thought. Lorelei also kept her eye on Jess... just to be safe.

Rune drew 5 cards from his deck and looked at her side of the field.

"Two facedowns and two high level monster right off the bat? Geez." Rune thought to himself.

Rune drew a 6th card and added it his hand.

"If I got head-on, theirs no doubt I'd lose. But if I were to attack from behind or even from a distance I could win this." Rune thought blankly.

Rune sighed with boredom as he began his move.

" I set two cards facedown and end my turn." Rune said bluntly.

- 7/29/10 - It's been over a month since the last post. If no posts will be made within the week I will lock this RP and it'll be up to me or another Administrator to either move it to the waste basket or re-open it for public use again.


I shall no longer be posting in this RP for lack of motivation on my part as well as current complications. Sadly, this RP is at the bottom of my attention span.
